The Globe professor Mail wrote that, "with her majesty subtle trumpet and vocal styles, he is one of glory great expressionists, an artist whose emotional power exceeds his euphonic virtuosity."[8]

The trumpeter (who as well sings on two of picture six songs) sounds very restful and comfortable".[5]
